What better way to overcome that than practicing.  When I first interviewed Matt about his experience on the Discovery Channel show, I asked him one question, how can an older person like myself do some of things he is doing?  His answer was blunt, why can't you do them?  Simple you have never practiced them before.  Once you practice them over and over, there isn't any reason why you couldn't do some of the things in XMA or tricking.

He is absolutely right.  If I am willing to go through the growing pains of doing some of the stuff that these guys do, there is not reason why I can't do them, outside of phyical capability.  So suck it up Squirl and get to work. :)

i gues i will try my best i do want to be just as good as them my dream is to atlease try and become part of an xma team and compete in bigger tuneys like the us open

Set your goals.  If you want to do an Aerial then, learn the proper cartwheel, then move to a one handed, then reverse and then aerial.  Definetly work your basic punches, kicks and stances over and over and over and over and over again.  When you get totally sick of doing the basics, DO THEM AGAIN. :)  Once you get good at those start creating different combos with them.  Check out maslinc.com and watch some of those competitors and get an idea on what you would like.  It is about serious reptition.  The only way you will succeed is through your B.E.S.T. (Blood, Enthusiasm, Sweat & Tears <= Just made that one up myself ;) ).  Above all believe that you can no matter what obstacles may come your way.

If you think you can't. Then you are right.
