ah yea, like every fighter i see thats just a brawler or a "Free Style" artist are crap. just look at Karo Parisyan. dude is a beast. olympic level judo. top level gappling. that dude is the real deal. i really only consider someone who follows a direct system a martial artist. matt hughes in all of his glory would take ppl down and ginds there faces into the mat.. i dont call it attractive but effective. like i say in softball, the book never lies. if a girl hits 2 homers then a triple, chances are that this chick is going to score. now (dare i say it) ppl like chris lebon are fighters dont get me wrong and could more than likely put me down fast but when you get a martial artist like the anderson silva insedent(sp)...... the 9 shots that were thrown then the 9 shots that landed followed by a KO speaks for itself.

yea but that belt doesnt make him that way. didnt cheick kongo beat a bazillian from the chute boxe academy?? kongo is crap when it comes to wrestling, jiu jitsu, takedown, etc. but my point is the belt is just a reflection of a status within an organization. Eddie Bravo was i think a purple belt and still having mechanical problems with his work. there are so many levels to jiu jitsu its not even funny. yea karo is a black belt in bjj but i think first and foremost his judo shines through. how do you get to the ground? what did he start first? what sport was he doing for the olympics? Wrestling doesnt have belts. why should anything else be any different?? Its funny that way. Josh kos is a black belt in wrestling!!! yea and so is tito ortiz but look what randy couture did to him. he dominated him. all im saying is ppl with a black belt dont mean anything. its there skill, attributes, and heart that seperate them from everyone else.

peace. Randy

yeah jiu jitsu has many levels, trust me, it's probably more than you think.  jiu jitsu is my core strength.
